Complete Doula Package:

Labor can be exhausting, exciting, hard, and surprising. By focusing on providing emotional and physical support to the laboring woman and her partner, a doula helps them cope with the intensity of labor. The primary care provider oversees the management of the labor, and health of mother and baby, whereas the doula is working to enhance the holistic experience of the whole family.

My Doula services include two private prenatal visits, ongoing support via phone and email as needed throughout pregnancy and after birth, 24 hour “on call” beginning two weeks prior to your due date, continuous support throughout labor, birth and postpartum. And one or two postpartum visits.

Birthing From Within Childbirth Classes

What do YOU need to know to give birth?
How will you cope with the unexpected in birth? in parenting?
These classes are perfect for expecting parents planning any type of birth, as they are tailor made for who is the class. The class content, while based on a general plan, is really determined by YOU the parents who are in the class.

In a 6-week series, retreat or private class you will:

• Learn, practice & master proven pain coping practices.
• Gain an understanding of how labor works.
• Learn practical information to help you navigate today’s birthing environment
• Explore ways to have a holistic and aware birth in any setting
• And much more!

Birthing From Within Classes are available in a Series or Weekend Retreat with other parents, or private classes in your home tailored just for you. Experience the difference of Birthing From Within!

Other Offerings:

• Blessingways/ Mother/Father Blessings: inspiring & holistic celebrations to support the initiation into parenthood.
• Belly Casting (Private or Party): a wonderful celebration of the pregnant belly and a wonderful heirloom keepsake.
• Birth Story Sharing & Listening Circles (group or private): a facilitated gathering to explore our stories and the meaning we give them. Listening with an open mind & heart. Our stories are our medicine.
• Cesarean in Awareness Workshop: Whether you are hoping to avoid a cesarean, or know that you will be giving birth by cesarean, this workshop can change the way you think about and approach your birth. This is a focused class on our ideas, expectations and options around Cesarean Births. During this workshop you will be presented with the step by step events that take place during a cesarean birth and immediately postpartum for mom, partner and baby. We will explore options you have in the outside environment, and within yourself to move toward a more holistic and aware experience.
• Process Painting Playshops: A exploratory playshop for women & men of any age. What would you paint if you could paint anything? This is NOT a “learn to paint” class, it is a gathering to notice how your mind works as it “wants” to create images & stories. NO painting experience needed! No painting technique needed! All supplies provided. Playshops planned for pregnant women, women & men over 65, Teens, married couples, singles and more.
• Private Birth Art Sessions: Using Birthing From Within processes, explore your ideas to prepare for an upcoming birth, or process your experience from a past birth.
• Private Birth Processing & Preparation: One-on-One support & mentoring
